Bulletsnaggers get their names for their urge to chew on and sometimes eat bullets
I came up with this species when I was like 8 ok lmao

-Bulletsnaggers have very sharp hearing that pays attention to crackling noises likes twigs/leaves snapping, fires and bullets. They can hear a gunshot from at least 20 miles away.

-They are omnivorous. Nobody really knows why they like bullets so much

-The majority of them have wings, but due the size of their wings and their mammalian body, they can only hover a few feet off the ground. Their poor eyesight has gotten many of them killed by passing vehicles.

(I know this isn't all that logical but look I'm just going off of what I created as a little fetus lmao)

-Bulletsnaggers are docile and can be made pets, ideally the ones without wings, which has lead many people to think those in captivity have lost their wings and that it shouldn't be ok to keep them as pets

-If tamed, they can be kept in a place where shootings happen the most, like warzones, bad parts of town, etc. So they could possibly assist in removing a bullet from a victim

-They can be very protective of their owner, young, and objects that they happen to cling to

These are an open species, but please tell me that you're going to make one first just so I know
