I will Bring you back to life!
Fix your ruined lungs,
I'll Undo What Time Has Done!
Part I: The Broken Bride by Ludo
So yeah, I'm a big Ludo fan and The Broken Bride has to be one of the Best Rock Operas ever, (in my opinion). You should look them up and listen to this album because it has an amazing story and great music.
Anyway, it's about a Man who's wife dies in a Car Accident, so He builds a time machine and goes back to try and save her. He ends up going too far and getting stuck in the prehistoric days and is chased into a cave by Pterodactyls. He pretty much thinks he is going to die and sits down to wait for his imminent demise. Meanwhile back in his own time, something has gone terrible wrong. The Dead are walking once again, forcing the citizens to take up arms and fight against what may be the end of the world. Back in the prehistoric, the time traveler has had a change of heart. Memories of his beloved and why he's stuck in this prehistoric wasteland give him the courage to wait at night, rolling a boulder down to make a path and clear the way to his machine. As he runs to his machine, Raptors hunt him, he manages to escape and is pulled to a different time, the end of the world. People have sided with King Simius and are fighting against God and his walking dead and the four horsemen of the apocalypse. He calls a dragon to defeat his enemy, but it only destroys everything, dead and living. The Time traveler flips the circuits on his machine and the dragon is sucked through the portal, the machine is destroyed. In the chaos, the time traveler is killed. Angels see him and ask him why his soul is in torment. he tells them he understands he couldn't save his wife, and all he wants is to go back to that morning in May to say goodbye. The Angels grant his request, and he appears outside his house at dawn that morning. He goes to there room and she's sleeping there, on the bed. He curls up behind her and holds her tight, overwhelmed by the fact that after fifteen years he's finally seeing her again. They cuddle for a while and then she looks at the clock. It's time for her to go. She goes to leave and he goes to the car, sliding into the passenger seat beside her. He holds her as the car loses control and crashes, they die together.
Heavily influenced by The Time Traveler, I'm sure, but a touching story nonetheless. c:
Anyway I see Dave as The Time Traveler, (Being the Knight of Time and all), and Jade as The bride. (I ship them so hard).
