I use Wacom Intuo 4…but I think all of Wacom's tablets are good for drawing~
Intuo 4 is more than enough I think……

firstly you should check if you have installed the tablet driver~if you didn't , you can go to the official web to get one and install it.(remember to fit your system)And remember to interpose Pen pressure of your tablet in the driver,your should make minimum pen pressure to be 0.
if you have done it, you need check if all of the softwares can recgonize your tablet~you can try in photoshop or SAI to find out if both of them can make smooth lines or not.
If photoshop can but SAI can't,open SAI and cick else/option/tablet,then choose "tablet pen mode" and try again.(I'm not sure if you can understand my translation becasue I use the Chinese version so just find the same meaning options~)
I'm not sure if it dose work to your porblem~Hope this can help you~(Please forgive my poor English~TAT)

I can understand most Cantonese words, but not all. I was born in Canada, so I know English better.

And, your English is pretty good! I don't understand why you say that you suck at it. I can only speak and understand canto, but not read or write. I only know how to write simple like 'girl', 'boy'... 'mouth'... xD

As you know，Cantonese sounds quite differently from common Chinese~in fact all kinds of Chinese is difficult to study so you're really good~XD And writing is the hardest to learn in Chinese because they are totaly different from English~keep it up if you enjoy it~Are you living in Canada now?
I'm in university now and my English courses finished last term~so maybe I've forgotten a lot of words and expressions~TAT

Yes...they sound really different. Whenever I 'attempt' to speak Mandarin, I always have a Cantonese accent. xD ~And, i agree that Chinese is hard to learn in terms of writing and reading. But I can speak it.~ Both my parents are Cantonese, so I hear it a lot. I learned English first, so I think that it's harder to catch onto to something else so suddenly. I live in Canada. I don't find it very hard to remember words and expressions, but since I am always speaking English, that might be the case. Good luck with your university work! if... you have any.

Accent is ok I think，in fact a lot of Chinese have their own accent from different places~~XD But I think you can easily communicate with people in Canton because you understand what they talk about~
My father is Cantonese but he speaks Mandarin~TAT
I really hate homework!!It takes plenty of time which I can use for drawing~TAT

Are you in middle school now?When I was at that age,I also had not much time to draw~but remember DO NOT GIVE UP IT ANYTIME, drawing is a longtime work,if you love it, never forget your dreams.XD You don't need to pay much attetion on it~just do it when you remember it.
I also went through the times that had to deal with a lot of homeworks,but whenever yesterday or today, I still insist on drawing~Actually I'm not an art student at all, so I believe you can do it as you are growing up~XD

I'm still in elementary. T.T And i don't have enough time to draw...

I will NOT ever give up drawing.! I will always love to draw no matter what! And try to improve... xD
I wish to be an art student for middle school... go to an art specialized high school...

I don't have too much homework right now, just projects.
