Description
This was a character I had to design for an assignment where we had to create a character for a theoretical video game, His name is Enomoto!

BACKSTORY:

Enomoto was a young human farmer living in the country. One evening on his way home from running errands in town, he heard a voice calling from the woods. Concerned he followed the voice and soon found himself lost. Eventually he came upon a shrine. Cold and weary he stumbled toward it, seeking help and possible shelter for the night. He called out into the dark entrance way of the shrine. With no response he hesitantly entered. he found himself drawn to an amulet set in the centre of the shrine. Compelled by an unseen force he picked up the amulet and strung it around his neck. Suddenly a dark red smoke exploded from the amulet and began to encapsulate Enomoto. His skin began to turn red, his hair grew and turned white, his nails turned to claws and horns grew from his head. A dark laughing echoed out inside his head as the Oni spirit that was trapped inside the amulet possessed Enomotos body. Enomoto fought back and now keeps the Oni spirit at bay within him through sheer will power. Not wanting to risk unleashing the Oni into the world, Enomoto confined himself to the shrine. The Oni, realizing it would never beat Enomoto's will power, began to eat away at Enomoto's soul and corrupt his sanity, merging itself into him, and Enomoto slowly forgot who he was, becoming one in the same with the Oni Spirit.

PERSONALITY / MOOD:

He is curious by nature, and was a very warm and caring person, however after merging with the Oni spirit, Enomoto’s sanity is broken, so hes a slightly unhinged and has adopted the feral and bloodthirsty nature of the demon. Every now and then he shows a little bit of the compassion he once had. He gets bored easily and because of this, likes to play games with his unfortunate victims. Sometimes, he will remember or do something he would have done when he was human, and this confuses him. He gets angry at this confusion because he cant remember his human life and this frustrates him.
