These designs are flatsales (Mogi), an auction (Chaconne), and an OTA (Elegie).

The Spirit of Love [NPC]

This mysterious maiden is the guardian of the sacred Grove of Gaia's Tears, a small pearl nestled in shimmering aether that hides a long-lost secret: the nectar of life. The delicate pink flowers that hold this precious nectar, called the Blossoms of Gaia's Tears, are found growing only around the sacred pool where she lives. The rest of the pearl is a lush forest of multicolored trees full of colorful creatures - and for some reason, a fair number of Mogi.

The Spirit of Love has spent her entire life - as far as she can remember - living here and protecting this glade. She doesn't know much of the outside world, but the very rare visitor often enjoys sharing stories with her. As the pearl is not found on any normal maps, it's rare for a traveler to end up in this place, but the visits are usually happy ones. Those who have visited the Grove of Gaia's Tears describe it as a place of healing and rejuvenation where they can reflect on their troubled souls. They describe the Spirit of Love as a creature of indescribable beauty - but also of deeply hidden loneliness.

The Spirit of Love is surrounded at all times by a flock of uniquely winged Mogi who act as her friends and attendants. While there are many Mogi on this world, these six are oddly much larger than the rest. She never asks anything of them, but they all seem attached to her in some way. Since she has no understanding of what a Mogi is, she just assumed they were colorful forest critters and that their babbling was cute animal noises.

But when two aetherlings visited her realm and identified them as sentient spirits, she was horrified! All this time, they had been talking to her and she just cooed at them like they were kittens! Wishing to show them the love and respect she feels they deserve, she has told the Mogi that they are to explore the world and discover its beauty on their own - and maybe spread the spirit of love with them!

Mogi: Blushing Reverie
This gentle but mischievous Mogi likes to spend their time listening to Love sing and tell stories, as well as being a snuggly bedtime companion when she feels sad. This one took Love's order the hardest, as they were quite okay with being regarded as a cute pet. They act perfectly sweet around Love, but actually enjoy playing pranks on the other Mogi and spying on visitors to learn their juicy secrets.

This prim and dainty Mogi is the custodian of the Grove, always seeing to its tidiness and beauty. They can sometimes be seen bossing around the smaller Mogi to get them to work on keeping the place pristine, but they're no mean boss: always rewarding the tiny ones with tea parties featuring caffeinated tea and handmade Mogi-sized munchies. Little does this Mogi know, that giving caffeine to Mogi is always a terrible idea. They end up making more of a mess than they started with. Love finds it endlessly endearing. When asked to go out into the world, this Mogi was quite defiant, but agreed only if it means that the grove will be taken care of in their absence.

This gentle and quiet Mogi spends much of their time gazing into the waters of the Grove, staring at the colorful fish and their own reflection. They seem lost in a daydream at all times, even in the middle of flying (which has led to some accidental collisions). What do they dream of? Even their reaction to Love's command is hard to tell. Are those tears of sadness or joy? Only the Mogi can possibly know.

This Mogi likes to fancy themselves the charismatic, mysterious true ruler of the Grove. Anytime a visitor appears, they approach the travelers by night while wearing a handmade leafy cloak, diving down from the treetops and demanding they introduce themselves. This attempt rarely works, but this Mogi believes it's because most mortals are too foolish to realize their true power. This Mogi has no concept of the unfortunate fact that a Mogi just isn't...that scary. They heartily agreed with Love's order and plan to show the universe their terrifyingly charming abilities.

This Mogi doesn't seem to have a particular role in the Grove, as they're perfectly content with sitting at Love's feet and being given all the fruits, sweet candies, and head pats they could ever dream of. Despite all of this, their tiny wings are somehow still able to allow them to fly. According to all known laws of aviation, this should not be possible. They agreed with Love's edict on the condition that they take all of her spare snacks with them -- and that one day they will bring her back the yummiest chocolate of all.

This valiant bundle of fur and feathers is the self-proclaimed protector of the Grove. They are the first to greet visitors, swooping down from the trees to confront any who might dare harm Love or the sacred glade. So far, all of this work hasn't really paid off, as there hasn't yet been a traveler who's meant any harm. But someday...someday one might. And this Mogi is not about to let that ever happen. They felt personally attacked by Love's order to go explore the world, feeling deeply concerned that leaving her all alone is a recipe for doom.

Long ago, a composer lost his wife and child to an unknown illness. Lost in broken-hearted grief and desolation, he sealed himself away in silence, drained of all inspiration to write his once-beautiful melodies. Only when the anniversary of their deaths loomed over him did he dare step out into the blinding sunlight. He visited their graves in a garden by the village chapel; it was springtime, and pink roses were blossoming all around the stones that bore their names in memory. He knelt before them, lost as if in a dream...and the world turned around him as evening fell.

A sound broke him from his thoughts - a squeak. A little bean was perched on the grave of his lost child, looking at him curiously. How long had it been there, watching him? Something about this little creature - its innocence and gentleness - finally broke his silence, and he cried for the first time. He cried until the moon rose and fell, until the morning sun opened its eyes...and when he finally dried his eyes, an aetherling stood before him. He had dared to part the dark veil of grief...and reminisce for the first time.

The composer took in the aetherling and cherished them for many years like his own child. He became renowned for the resurgence in his beautiful music, driven by the joy the aetherling's presence inspired. But he knew that aetherlings were bound for greater things...and when the aetherling dreamed of far-off places, he loved them enough to let them go.

This aetherling dedicates themselves to opening up the hearts of the downtrodden to the truth and peace that memory can give - even if such memories are the source of so much pain.

This aetherling remembers only a life of isolation and sadness. Somehow, they were always drawn to those suffering with painful memories, and somehow their presence only seemed to make the memories cut deeper. Time and time again, they attempted to touch upon the souls of others in a bid to befriend them, and time and time again they failed. What was wrong with them? Why did despair follow them everywhere they went?

The aetherling remembers the moment they first awoke. They wandered the aether until they found a humble cottage in what seemed like a peaceful place - a place one might find a kind and loving essence. Their heart crystal hummed with the calling of purpose, and they visited at the window and peered into the room. An elderly Manu had just passed, surrounded by her friends and family. They cried for her and shared stories by the fire - joyful, but sad. The bean had cried too, and the emotion that overcame them changed their form. But the villagers were superstitious of strange aetherlings, cried out, and chased them away, believing them an ill omen...

This aetherling settled on one possible solution: They must have been born a Void aetherling - a giver of pain and sorrow who feeds on memory. Their own memories of the kind and loving Primal who made them..those must have been false somehow. No other solution made sense. So they embraced it, working to spread despair and regret...until they crossed paths with a gentle Sylph who somehow felt...familiar.

It was that Sylph who convinced them to embrace the truth of their essence. They remembered each other, an encounter lost in memory. They were made for each other by a Primal of aether who wished them to be the guardians of reminiscence.

The aetherling resisted the truth, and so the Sylph thought of a legend they once heard: of a realm where love is plentiful and the truth can be revealed: the Grove of Gaia's Tears.
