"What is 'Beauty' anyway? Other than just a personal concept ?"This is my concept of how an angel looks like.

Im sorry to say that i dont like this one..
Maybe couse i have a thing for Angels and this one just disturbs that passion of mine..
But yeah i think you succeded to spread some fear..

"like a happy little zombie " thats right, my concept on this one have nothing to do with sadness or evil, people cant undersand this just because her appearance is different.

I really like this. I like the new approach to an old theme, and the composition is great. I think the feather in front should be a tad crisper, although a minor complaint.

I'm afraid that it's a bit too overdone for me. It has a bit more depth then you usually see with these texture-rich manipulations, but I just think it lacks subtlety. I understand that there's a lot of work that goes into this, but it really works better if you lessen the intensity of the alterations and preserve the nature of the original photo somewhat.
It also helps, when taking the photo, to keep in mind what you want to do with it. Then, you can make sure she has no hair over her forehead, for example, or anything else that makes it harder to manipulate. And keep a close eye on things that catch the light very strongly, like the little heartshaped clip. At this moment, it has the original light reflected visible in the piece itself, breaking with the dark atmosphere in a way that's not so good. You could, though, make use of it by giving it more light and making it fit somehow.

man, thanks a lot for the tips and the critique, i had to surpass a lot of problens in this piece, this is the best that I could make with the images i had i thought, i am aways trying to improve my stuffs, so next time I'll try not commit the errors that you mentioned here, ill pay attention to what you said, thanks a lot

Yes, I don't particulary agree with your vision of angels but I do love how creative this is. It's an awesome manipulation. I definately could never some up with something like that on my own.
