I thought for sure this was digital from the thumbnail, what a pleasent surprise to see such a fantastic traditional piece! I love the concept, and composition and the depth you've created. I especially love the detail in the fish, and the little aspects you added to the water to make it look real. And the fact that you've used greens and yellows, as a lake should look, and not blue tones like the ocean as many people mistake. The dark foreground weeds make it feel like we're intruding on this moment, a little creepy and beautiful at the same time. Congrats on the well-deserved DD! :}

Beautiful! I've not seen a composition like this before, with the focus almost hidden behind so dark a foreground, but you do it to such great effect.
