I'm going to upload the finished picture to my gallery soon, whenever I get a better quality version.This is the process of a piece titled "Hawk" which was sort of a quickie painting I did for my grandpa's 70th birthday. He's an avian vet, soooo.... ;D
Walkthrough:
1: just basic sketch outline w/ pencil
2: watercolour wash for the background
3: starting with oil pastel & blending with my finger
4: same as above...
5: beak and eye pocket with oil pastel, and eye with Prismacolour
6: random finishing touches, shiny in the eye with paint, clean edges, and signature~
Probably only took me about 3 hours or so.
