Description
I was in an English seminar last semester which focused on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, and we were given a good deal of free-reign for the final project. I chose to do a set of illustrations, which took WAY too long to complete, and were only just turned in on time.At any rate, I'm uploading the three out of seven which I actually like. This is the first: it's a scene from The Silmarillion, in which Yavanna creates the two tree of Valinor.

I love her ethereal nature, but I wish that the galadriel one had more detail for her expression, because I feel like she could be a lot more expressive and intense (but maybe I am just a Galadriel dork).
