Description
I revived an old laptop with Ubuntu and installed jWildfire on it. The render took over an hour, but it's a spare machine that I can set to the side and let work. This laptop is now nearly as fast with Ubuntu as my 2 generations newer i7 Windows 10 machine. Linux has come a long way, without going overboard with bloat. Now to figure out how this fractal stuff works a bit more.
