Description
It's been a while since I made a double perspective photo but I thought it was time when I came up with this idea. I shot it around Christmas last year. It was a beautiful frosty day right before the snow came. Everything was shot outdoors except some smaller details in the image. I would love to hear your thoughts about it! Any technical improvements? Light, mood, message, objects? What does he do?What is the first thing that comes into your mind?
edit: THANKS FOR THE DD! <3

You should consider doing tutorials.
Most of the photoshop-Tutorials out there are for people that have never touched photoshop in their life.
I would watch your Tutorials till i die. You are by far my favourite Photoshop-artist out there.

I think it is a great illustration for the philosophical concept of 'space' in Architecture. What makes the difference between exterior and interior? What is it that we perceive as 'space'?

This is easily one of the best-constructed pics I've seen ON MY LIFE. I understand the process and can follow it all along, but the amount of detail put in there to get the perfect result is inconceivable...

Spread Some DA Love, No. 68
Welcome to the latest installment of my "favorite faves" -- the best, in my opinion, of works I faved recently. Some of these pieces you have no doubt seen; others you may be viewing for the first time. If you come across something you like please let the artist know -- give them some DA love in the form of faves and comments; also take a look at their galleries -- you might like their work so much you'll want to watch them!
Remember, everyone could use a little more DA love!
(Many of the works shown here are included in the galleries of two groups I founded. Visit Ugly-Mug-Portraits ugly-mug-portraits.deviantart.… and Surreal-Landscapes surreal-landscapes.deviantart.… to view even more incredible art created by very talented DA artists in need of your support!)

And you want to be told about technical improvements? You could be teaching this stuff man. It doesn't get any better than this.

First thoughts, I must cut back on the Jack D.
Second was how brilliant this piece is. Where do you start on a piece like this?

it's usually a very simple shape or sketch that I start with, then it develops over time into a more and more complex sketch and then I decide to realise it.

Incredible work, congratulations of the most deserved DD! I love the growing piles of discarded paper (very accurate) and the all-black uniform (scarily accurate).
I'm curious; is the black dog meant to be symbolic, because that would definitely fit my experience of the architecture world and many of those who inhabit it!

Beautiful and illusionary. He's drafting a plan to escape the house space without turning inside out.

He is obviously trying to figure out what happened to his house. (and the rest of the world maybe)
The universal constants had a phase-shift and his is constructing the theory of how to twist it back.
Great work Erik!

I found this stunning. I like the lighting effects and the way the lamp contrasts with the mist outside. You ask "What does he do?" He designs houses like this - but judging by all the waste paper, he's not as good at it as you are!
