Poison was one of Black Hat’s favorite drinks.

Poison laced tea, or even just having strait up mercury or cyanide, it was delicious. It especially amused him when disguised hero’s tried to poison his cup, only to find he rather enjoyed it. It tickled his fancy to mess with their heads, and watch their stares of disbelief.

He didn’t expect anyone to find one that actually worked on him, much less use it to weaken him in a fight. But White Hat was more devious than most heros. No, neither Black Hat nor White Hat was afraid to play a little bit dirty when the situation called for it….

The fight had lasted a day, and by Black Hat’s standard, it was pretty pathetic, even he had to admit that. With his insides on fire, his magic and biology not working how he wished, and the spasms that he seemed he didn’t have any control over, he was having a pretty hard time. White Hat and him usually were even in a fight (usually destroying the planet they fought on), but with him incapacitated, well, White Hat could have wiped his physical form off the face of the earth in only a few hours. He would have reformed eventually, of course, but it would certainly be annoying as hell.

Instead, White Hat had been going easy (or was he just dragging it out for the fun of it? It was hard to tell), on him, damaging Black Hat’s physical form beyond normal repair. It was quite obvious what was going to happen once Black hat could no longer move his legs after one spasm. He expected White to just kill him there and then. Unfortunately, the doppleganger of him decided that he was going to carry this out just a bit longer.

“It didn’t have to be like this….but I guess you were always stubborn, weren’t you?” White Hat squatted down, and took Black Hat’s chin and raised it so that they were looking at eachother properly. He almost looked sympathetic

Black hat sneered at him, narrowing his eyes, “You’re right. You could have made an excellent villain, shame you took a liking to the humans here,”

“Tut tut blacky, you have to admit they are ingenious, they were the ones who gave me that poison. But you know that, just look, you have Flug after all,”

Black hat chuckled weakly, “He won’t go down without a fight, especially after this. Heh…he might even be able to kill you,” Flug had been working on some sort of weapon that might actually do the trick, who knew.

“Who said I wanted to kill the boy?” White hat asked, a smile now coming across his own face, strait teeth gleaming, “no…no I think I’ll take good care of your crew!”

Black Hat gave a single blink of surprise, then a growl. He grabbed at White Hat’s outreached arm, “You better n-”

“So good in fact,” White hat continued, as if he hadn’t heard Black Hat, “that they might…I don’t know…gain some heroic qualities themselves, don’t you think?”

Black Hat, despite the pain and feeling of mangled skin and muscles, tried to get up. One of the worst things that could happen to ANY villain was to be turned hero. The thought of that happening to Dimencia, to Flug, both of whom were just starting to become compitant!

White Hat shoved him back down, keeping one clawed and blood covered hand on Black Hat’s back.

“Now then,” the lighter of the two said, raising the other hand, which morphed into several long and sharp tentacles, “..I’ll see you in a few years…tell Lucifer hello for me.”

I wondered how the fight might have gone down from ally-kats.deviantart.com/art/W… this concept pic…and that’s how this was born.

White hat shoulder looks super weird, but I’m proud of the bloodstains. They look like bloodstains! Lol

I'm not actually sure if I should do something with this. I dunno, what do you think?
