; By the waters of Kewalo Basin,
; by silver shining Big-Sea-Waters,
; at my computer I just painted
; on this pleasant winter's evening,
; on this evening bright and joyous,

; a blue flower growing upright
; in an air so full of freshness,
; while beyond the far horizon
; now the stars are twinkling, shining
; twinkling shining in the heavens.
