I think their expressions are what captures me the most. It's compelling, passionate, engaging. And while I have yet to see the second one, I think you captured their spirits in this rendition. I do think their faces are a little off however... hard to explain how or to what extent, but it seems off if you analyze it. My sister (whom I called in to look at this great drawing) agreed with me. Anyway, not a critique, just a thought.

Well, let me explain that further. I don't mean the drawn faces are off. They are great faces. I mean in being those people their facial structure seems a little off, as if they turn their face in the drawing and it's not really them anymore. I don't know if that says any more than what I initinally said, but O well... whatever, hehe. It's still a great composition and shading and --yes, I have to say it again-- expressive. I love the expressions!
