Further tweaking...Something I'm working on for a typography assignment where we are doing our own version of a magazine ad. So I chose Need For Speed Underground 2 and I'm in the process of creating my own type face for the assignment.
I came upon this look after 100s of different combinations of layer ordering and blending modes and I'm really pleased with it. After stumbling across this look I perfected it, so I'm looking to do a website layout with this motif/theme in the future.
It has this grungy/underground look, but it's so refined. The original is large enough for 8.5 x 11 prints at 300dpi, it's phenomenal in print.

this one is cool too. has almost an ominous feeling with the black seeming to reside in the foreground. pretty cool effect.
