Description
here is a shot of my latest plamo i'm working on now 'RX-0 Gundam Unicorn'. instead of the original color [link] i did a lot of re-modification myself, i respray all the red psycoframe component to gold color, it looks even better when i custom colored it to nu-gundam [link] black and white color. the biggest modification i did was replacing the unicorn's tiny face with a much larger face salvage from duel gundam, looks better now.The leg bend articulation which many people complain as the biggest flaw of the kit with the maximum bend of 70 degree, but i manage to modified the bending to 110 degree after numerous try out which almost the result of destroying the leg.
overall the whole build is around 70% done, i still have the decals to apply and lots of parts damage during the assembly(especially the gold component) i'm also planning to scratch build a fin funnel booster pack. so it may take some more time.
other than that i'm stopping the build for a while to work on a Gundam 00 poster for the up coming comic fiesta.

There are people who don't realize how much work goes into making and modifying these models(no one here, of course).
It's clear you work very hard on these models, and I love seeing that. :3

This is SO COOL! I love the idea of recoloring it, it really does look better in black and white. You're inspiring me a bit, for I have a lot of Gundam models I built back in high school that I want to redo. Back then I just made them straight from the kit with no modifications whatsoever (other than the decals) but now that I have an airbrush and other things I REALLY want to retouch them now. X3

damn it, u have airbrush, smething i don't have at all, i used hardware store's spray can for the color, it's very expensive to buy model kit spray here, i can only afford cheap hardware store's spray. make sure u make full use of your airbrush, if not i'm coming after u

That's AWESOME you're able to do that with cheap hardware store paints though, it's more amazing. XD I'm just curious what type of paints would be best for something like this. And I WILL make full use of my airbrush for other projects though, when school lets up and I have time for art. X3

well, according to exprences, hardware store paints don't stick that well to the model, i have to do a lot of sand papering to rough up the surface for the paint to stick better, airbrush is a better choice because u will be mixing some thinner into it and it well stick better on the plastic and u can have more choices of custom colors, well it's better to get model paint like Mr color or tamiya paint
