If one is advanced, one will find other names really cool, such as Quetzalcoatlus and Zhejiangopterus (both Azhdarchid pterosaurs) or Ichthyophthirius multifiliis (a species of ciliate protozoan which parasitizes freshwater fish - very common in fish tanks all over the world, nearly everybody who owns an aquarium has to deal with it).
Finally one will then be able to correctly speak, spell and write terms deriving from Russian names, for instance Scilla mischtschenkoana (a very lovely squill from the Caucasian area) or Paeonia mlokosewitschii, the yellow-flowering perennial peony - English gardeners simply call it "molly the witch", in order to prevent a serious damage of the tongue!
