maizie is the vp’s mechanic who also works on some of the higher tier cogs. sweet and motherly, she always aims to make repairs and transitions quick and easy. she has a strong southern accent and an affinity for southern food like sweet tea and mashed potatoes— even though cogs aren’t supposed to consume anything other than oil.

digit is the cfo’s mechanic who doubles as a piercer. she’s stoic and usually doesn’t talk much, and in her free time can be seen working out.

nate is the cj’s mechanic who’s fairly new to the job. he’s an angry fellow, but he has a few friends that he deeply and genuinely cares for even if he has difficulty expressing it. he’s kind of a nervous wreck deep down, as his job has a lot of weight.

the ceo insisted on having two mechanics to keep him in top form all the time. enter pepper and jack, a pair of big cheeses who are basically soulmates. jack, despite being huge, masculine, and intimidating, is pretty shy and finds it hard to use his words. he usually whispers to pepper, his tiny perky partner, who then speaks for him out loud. the two get anxious if they’re ever separated, but thankfully that doesn’t usually have to happen.
