Cool! Haven't seen any decent tropical scenes for a while, this one looks very inviting, especially since there's so much variety in flower types that it feels like someone is maintaining this area, planting their own plants to make it even richer than it would have naturally formed on its own

I heard the ocean (which I've never been to) and smelt the water, heard the tropic sounds...that's how good your image is. Gave me the experience without even going to a tropic island xD

"Myandir" is a play on words. It's pronounced the same way you'd pronounce the word "meander". The idea is that people will meander through this world that I am attempting to create.

WhoazzzzzzzZzzz...! I just noticed the scale! For some reason the scale seems really weird. The palmtrees (in the distance) look super tiny, or the grass/foil-age (lol) seems really large!

I like how the blur of the grass and flowers up front gives a sense of focus, but I don't like how the trees in their vicinity interfere with the effect. Nothing more than a minor complaint that pales in comparison to the excellence of the piece overall.

The trees take up a lot of space on the painting so I felt that if I were to blur them it would make the whole piece seem a little too blurry. I definitely took some artistic license there. Thanks for the comment!

Wow, exquisite level of detail. But I wonder, is there any connection between this piece and the Secret Cave, or are the similarities just coincidence?

Both paintings were supposed to take place in the same world. But I've decided that I'm going to be making 100% new art for this project.
So yes, the two paintings are technically of the same world, but the Secret Cave painting will not be part of the actual project.
