Here's another one from the Ol' History Books! This is a double splash page I did for Marvel's X-men: Age of Apocalypse. This was only a one shot for me but I really loved drawing these characters designed by Joe Mad, they kicked ass!Related content

Wow!!! I've just been studying fight scenes in my how-to-draw books and so on because one is coming up in my comics... and this looks awesome! Such dynamic action and movement really makes it look painful. Foreground to background draws us in effectively too....

Hey man! absolute wonderfull art. Been a fan of the xmen and collected their books since the days of 94 and specially when the age of apocalypse came by! but this special number I missed and have tried to get my hands on! would you please tell me the exact name of the comic, in order to search it in amazon or over the net?? I would happily purchase it!

That's incredible. The Age of Apocalypse was one of my favourite renditions of the X-men cast. Was this, and/or all of the story arcs, done digitally or by hand?

It's penciled and inked by hand, then colored digitally on photoshop!

It was a 10 year anniversary special, never was released as a series. I was just a "guest" artist in the book. Thanks for the compliments though!

I think I remember them revisting AoA 10 years later.
I noticed you had some Joe Madruiera in your style. Excellent person to adapt from. He is definitely in my top 5 of best Xmen illustrators
