Here is another oldie but goldie. I completed this several years ago as a cover for the relaunch of the Street Fighter 2 series. Since then it has been repeatedly reproduced as posters being sold nationwide. Probably one of the pieces I am most proud of during my career!Hope you (still) like it!

This is actually probably one of my favorite SF group pieces, too. Everything from my favorite girl Cammy and ever cool Dee Jay to the cocky Ken and powerful Ryu looks fantastic and perfect for each character's... well, character. This is an iconic piece for Street Fighter.

....Um, I think you've misunderstood something.
UDON is the name of the Art Company that licenses/distributes the artwork. It is not the name of the specific artist that created it. That person would be this guy, Alvin Lee, who is also the co-founder of UDON if I'm not mistaken.
If you want proof look at the bottom right corner of this very same image (right underneath Guile) and on the bottom of the very back of your "Street Fighter II #0" comic book (right under Dee Jay). You should see Alvin Lee's signature.

It maybe old, but it wonderful to see just what a growign style you have as an artist and how it have evolved so much from then to now.
Your style of anime is majestic, daring and visually striking in that you can feel the energy pouring off each and every character presented. You know how to really bring out the very best of the characters and make them leap off the page. The expression of anatomy and perspective chosen to really amp up the design and mood of the scene is amazing and along with the graceful dash of colour this really opens up a lot more of your skills.
The comic book styling fits in perfectly and along with the simple additions of shading and lighting effects dotted around the charm really lights up.

honestly dude i always thought your pencils for this cover were beastly as always, with some characters clearly being more prominent than others. but i think the coloring while it is awesome and looks great on each individual char, hurts the piece a little. it doesn't really focus the eye and as a result i think on a whole its kinda jumbled. but really your pencils rock regardless
