Description
Here we are with Part #4 of the LEGO Disney Universe Project, with three new characters -10. ANNA
Anna from Frozen was a must have in this roster, of course. I'm happy with the way her design turned out, overall. I used the Pretzel Girl's hairpiece in brown with a small, lighter color on a strand to match that of the movie for the hair, and I think it worked pretty well. Nothing much else to say here, so moving on-
11. ARIEL
You guessed it, another official Minifigure. I was tempted to have another version of Ariel, one with one of her dresses from the movie, but I ultimately decided to go with this version. I chose to ignore the fact that she should technically have legs to walk around (that's pretty much the whole point of the movie), and I think having her change form when she dives underwater would not make much sense either. She'd just move around funnily. At the end of the day, no one would care I guess. Another note on her abilities - For anyone who played LEGO Marvel's Avengers, the 'Disney Princess Panels' works exactly like the SHIELD panels in that game. Only members of that particular group of characters can access these panels to solve puzzles. I came up with this ability mainly because Disney princesses don't have many skills and abilities, with a few exceptions. They mostly rely on their characterization in their movies, rather than skills or powers. And also because I felt like I needed to have the Disney Princesses be relevant in some way.
12. ARLO
Arlo, from The Good Dinosaur. For his model I took inspiration from an actual Apatosaurus figure from the LEGO Jurassic World videogame, with of course many modifications applied to the feet and the head.
And that's it for this week! Next batch will hopefully come out next Friday, like I'm trying to do with all of these. Stay tuned and don't forget to leave your feedback!
