i thought i was alrighti thought i was okay
now i just sit and watch my security fall away
nothing to do
nothing to say
just to wait and see what will happen today
lost in my mind
lost in my heart
i don't want everything to fall apart
loving you with all i have
loving you no matter what time brings
you can break me or make me everything
something i could never become alone
something i could never dream of being
but only you can keep me believing
everythings alright
everythings okay
but everything can be anything if you would just stay
dreams come then fade away
make me, break me, push me away
in these dreams it's just me and you
holding each other but crying too
fighting the sadness, insecurity and pain
wishing we knew what we would gain
what if we lose?
what if we win?
how do we know which one is which
we're both so lost, confused and scared
hoping we find out whether to stay or go
and if we go...where to find safe ground
is it alone...is it together
only time will tell us any better
than the moment we're in
do we act on what we feel
or do we wait for time to sink in
nothings for sure anymore
i want to know now
but i can't
and i won't wish for anything but that
i love you still
and always will
no matter the pain i've felt in the past
i want us to forever last
take time and figure out what you feel, but know my emotions are in your hands...you're behind the steering wheel.
