Description
I needed an accurate model to make future drawings from, so I used a scale model off Wikipedia for a base, traced it on my light desk, and threw in some flats in Photoshop, then messed around with the layers to get the luminous effect I was looking for. The old model is nearly 10yrs out of date, and was never great to begin with. www.deviantart.com/alysatalada… ... Yes, I traced the original frame. The rest of the model was still a hellava lotta work, and I intend to use it for future non-traced drawings.

Why am I admitting I traced it? A) My integrity won't allow me to claim I did something I didn't. B) This stupid argument going around that a certain type of machine-made "art" is no different than tracing. Kiss my butt and go pick up a pencil.

The Star Runners are descended from Deltadromeus agilis. A real pain-in-the-ass species, it turns out, since all we actually have is the limbs and a few other bones to go on. For my purposes, I intend to stick with this version, at least until a skull is found. It feels much more in tune with a Ryozae species that prides itself on speed and elegance. I imagine they'd also be slightly larger than their dino ancestors.

"The Ryozae Alliance" is perhaps best described as a New Adult Science Fantasy epic series. Set in the mid-late 90s, it follows the coming of age of three young men (18-23), through an alien invasion and the subsequently violent upheaval of everything they know and love. The in-progress drafts are now uploading to Royal Road.
