Believe it or not but when I was younger I held my hamster -called Tiger- in my hands to say goodbye to it before leaving it at the neighbours care for a holiday. My dog jump at me so Tiger fell. Of course my idiot dog puts the poor thing in it's mouth and held it tight.
I was heartbroken, because my little hamster had died.
But a couple of days later, when we where far away from home, our neighbour called, she was feeding the bunnyrabbits and heard some noise in the trashcan. She took the lit off and saw my hamster sitting there, eating trash
When I came home, Tiger was doing fine. It lived for two more years and died at age 3
I've heard some other crazy hamster accidents, where they all survived. Hamsters really dont die that easily

your neighbours could have bought you a new hamster. :/
Just like 3rd grade hamsters that don't die. (they get replaced)
Seems unlikely Tiger would have revived after you confirmed its death.
that was gloomy. Wish you a nice day...

hahaha, it wasnt a new one. The teeth marks of my dog were still visible, so it really couldn't have been a different one.
Thanks any way

to throw animals in the air is very dangerous, especially for little animals like hamsters coz they can die very easily of stress. It is cute, but I think the idea of throwing that hamster in die air is horrible and cruel.

Hamsters love to catch their wind~ So adorable. x3
I can't believe some people think this is cruel. I bet they never even held a hamster before, the hippies.

IMPORTANT QUESTION:
My sister and I are arguin': did you threw him into the air and took the photo with a great-quality camera, or you held him, took the photo, and then manipulated the photo????
Hope you answer!!

I've already explain it before
the hand in the photo is not my hand
it is my friend hand
he threw him in the air and i took the picture
i used two studio lightning to freeze the action otherwise the hamester will not be as sharp as you see it in the picture
it is one picture and it is not manipulated
best regards

That means....my sister won...damn.
But let me tell you something:
You did a great great grrrreat work!
Is not too easy to get those result with too much movement, is it?
And I have seen how hamsters move their legs when you throw them in the air [not that I do that often ]
Great work ^^

fastchapter In reply to mcrkarol [2009-03-12 05:41:43 +0000 UTC]
Simple answer: Hamsters don't stand on their tippy-toes unless they're standing on their hind legs to look at something, So either this fellow found a very dextrous rodent that he was able to get to stand like that in his hand, and then 'Shop a few inches above, or he simply had the camera on a timer and gave the lil' guy a toss.

looks like a mouse to me, hampsters are bigger than that and have a pretty distinctive look to them.
