Description
Recently, I dramatically swore off the identity of “being good at art.” Being able to render from memory the human form, intuitively knowing how to manipulate lighting isn’t going to add anything to my life if I’m just trying to do those to validate my “artist” identity. I want to make art that makes people happy, which makes composition the most important, and that means making art for the people in my life, including myself. So if I want to rip off images from my childhood or from me google searching “easy art ideas,” I could care less. I do value being confident in my skills enough to create.
