I've been contemplating how to express this, even though I know it might ruffle a few feathers. Lately, I've been relying heavily on AI to craft characters for my book covers, allowing me to avoid shelling out for stock photos. However, I want to clarify that it's far from just a matter of inputting a simple prompt and presto, a masterpiece appears. In my perspective, AI functions as a free stock photo creator, but I never settle for the image it generates as is. Instead, I undergo substantial transformations, incorporating additional stock photos and employing my hand-drawn skills to truly craft a masterpiece. This post is meant to illustrate the evolution from what AI initially produces to the final result I create.
