lol, seriously. I used the pencil tool for the lineart. For once. And I think it looks pretty. *3* Just....sorry for the cheap bg
There are mistakes here and there, but I don't really mind. So enjoy the pretty eyes I had fun with.

If I had to crit, it'd probably be on the snout. It looks a bit too long and pointy, somehow. Additionally, there seems to be a few parts of color which bleed past the lineart... :/
Eh, regardless, this is a nifty little piece. I like the character design and her expression. Sometimes simple backgrounds work nicely.

Eh, I can relate with having no tablets. It's hard to draw with just a mouse, which is why the Pen Tool is god. :/
Yeah, they can for some pictures. Say, for instance, you wanted to just focus on a character. Putting a million blindingly bright polka dots would sorta detract from the character. Manga backgrounds for the panels also tend to be simple, usually to fight apathy, but that's another tangent. XD
