Well~In short... I've always wanted to draw this guy with his hair down xD
Otherwise, the drawing was made in 7 hours with mechanical pencil and I cleaned it with Photoshop.
I hope you like it :3
Xigbar is a character from Kingdom Hearts, he belongs to the Square Enix and Disney, but the drawing belongs to me~

Well.. to tell the truth I didn't like him at the beginning.. But since I cosplayed as him once (oh yeah I made his weapons too) I started to like him xD

lol I actually was the same.
I didn't like Xigbar when I first had to fight him. (he's just so hard to beat)
Then my sister started playing and she says, "But he's a space pirate! How do you not think that's cool?"

Well I cosplayed as him last year xD (and it was my very first cosplay ever)
When I was coming back from the capital I was already really tired etc. When I got off the train my sister(who was cosplaying as Tifa) gave me the weapons and she got off as well.. And as I was standing there with the gunarrows in my hand, staring at the empty train, an unknown girl and a guy were walking to the exit of the train station.. And the girl was like "Hey, Xigbar!" xDDD
I looked back but they were walking way too quickly so I couldn't greet them. A few days later she kind of found me xD. Now she's one of my best friends

That is one of the best stories I have heard in a while! I love it. I have cosplayed as Sora before. That's the only KH cosplay I've done. (I was Nami from One Piece this year)

I'm actually going to try and stay in budget this year. I have a shirt that has Xigbar number 2 written on it and I am going to wear that with my Xigbar wig, face scar, and eyepatch.
The weapons may also be a future investment.

Xigbar is my favorite Organization member. You made him look soft and amazing. It looks like maybe he's caught in the rain, but he likes the rain. He just looks peaceful. A different side of him indeed and the fact that you did this with mostly pencil floors me. I want your skills!

Yes, everyone has different sides and the original has come more full circle because of this pic, in my mind for sure.

Well, when I begin drawing I'm always drawing a base. (I might do a tutorial someday X"D) Then I'm beginning the shading. I like the soft shades, so I'm making it layer by layer. (Important: If you want to smudge the graphite in the end you should move the pencil in one certain direction, otherwise it will be messed). I always try to put up the same tone but since there are many layers it becomes darker, but there won't be unwanted darker places (It takes too much time to correct them X"D). When the shading is done I'm using the rubber to make the highlights (Important: the rubber must be clean, otherwise it creates dark edges)~
Oh, and when I'm drawing the base I'm using 0.5 mm H graphite lead and for the shading I'm using 0.75 mm HB graphite lead..

To tell the truth I never really drew that pairing before xDDD I usually only draw such things a friend of mine. She's a big yaoi fangirl and an Axel cosplayer. So I had to draw AkuRoku for her x"DDD What's more, since I'm a Xigbar cosplayer, so I had to draw Axel x Xigbar drawings too x"DDDDD
