If living were as simple as
Air in
Air out
And a mind could be blank,
And a heart could be pure,
Would living be worth living for?

I caught a small glimpse
Of this strange existence
And I waited for an answer,
Without realizing that in this world,
There would be no questioning.

And I breathed
And I waited
While my blank mind
Spun as an empty plate,
While my heart became
Pure by injection...

Sent my body into shock.
Preserved my innocent misery.
And to the amusement of others,
I found that indeed,
The life was real,
But the living was not.
