So, I originally wasn't going to participate in this years DA April Fool's challenge, but there is one thing about Hoofs that inspired me to do so, the snail. Hoofs little pal reminded me of the snail from one of my favorite shows, Adventure Time. It got me thinking, what if his friend was more than what he appeared to be? That he wasn't, in fact, a simple green snail but a yellow snail in disguise and possessed by what I felt was the creepiest character in the whole show, the lich. And what if the lich was wanting to turn Hoofs into a creature that would serve and obey him? Well, then I guess someone really would have to #savehoofs

Had a lot of fun with this one. Was able to get the outlines and flat color done in one sitting. Getting faster!! Figuring out the fire and the lighting from it is what took me the longest. Still have a long way to go, but happy with the progress I am making. I hope you all had a safe and happy April Fools with much laughter!
