Description
So I've always had a rough idea of what my ponysona would be, just getting her on paper was an issue... So after many attempts I finally have a draft of her I'm not afraid to show.

Her name is Nocturna, literally meaning "of the night". I was trying to get her coloration done so it looked like she had a blue black body and wings with the feather tips changing to a darker purple. Her leg feathers, mane, and tail are supposed to be a midnight blue that changes to a royal purple as it goes out. Her right eye is a blue grey, like mine, and her left eye is an emerald green with a single straight scar over it. She wears three silver circlets on her right "wrist", left "ankle", and on the base of her tail. She also wears a silver ear cuff on the front of her left ear.

It took me quiet some time to figure out the cutie mark, but it may change since this is her first real rough draft. Her c.m. is the symbol of Mjölnir with the triquetra over a full moon with 4 stars around it. I chose Mjölnir and the triquetra because they are symbols of my beliefs and the path I walk on. Everday I try to remind myself to be the best person I can be, honor my ancestors, and live by the 9 virtues. The full moon is there for the same reason my ponysona is named Nocturna and that she is "nightly" colors, I LOVE the night! I love the darkness, the stars, the moon, the sounds of night, all of it. I've even worked the night shift for over 10yrs. The stars are not only there for the night theme but also are a small sign of the four things that helped get through the worst parts of my life. My family, friends, loved ones, and hobbies each have a star.
