Description
Here is the next Pixar film that I am reviewing. This is also the first Pixar film to be released in theaters after the previous 3 films from 2020, 2021, and 2022 Soul, Luca and Turning Red were released on Disney Plus because of COVID-19. This film is called Lightyear from 2022. This movie tells the story of a space ranger named Buzz Lightyear who explores some strange planets with his pal Alisha Hawthorne. They are best friends. Soon, there is a space camp in the planet. Then Buzz uses his spaceship to fly through space. But then he has traveled through time and to find out that Alisha had passed away and then a man named Burnside is the commander. Soon, Buzz meets a talking robot cat named Sox and Buzz uses him for the special mission. Then he and Sox meet Izzy Hawthorne who is Alisha's granddaughter, and she forms a team to save the day. The team work together. But sometimes the team always mess up some things. Just then Buzz is captured by Zurg and the teamwork a plan to save him. Then in the ship, Buzz finds out that Zurg is actually Buzz in older form. He tries to help Buzz, but Buzz defeats Zurg and is reunited with the team. Then Burnside captures Buzz and the gang, but Burnside congratulates Buzz, and he has a brand-new team. Soon, they begin their adventure. And that's the movie Lightyear. This movie is great. This is a spin off to the Toy Story Franchise. I like this film. I know this is Pixar's third box office bomb, but I thought it was great. And there is Chris Evans as Buzz Lightyear.
