Alright... So, this idea popped into my mind recently, and I couldn't get it out of my head at all. So, I just had to do this one.

Mr. and Mrs. Webster from the Goosebumps book called "The Cuckoo Clock Of Doom" (as well as its television adaptation) are extremely doting and loving towards their young daughter, Tara, who they see as an innocent little girl and in the process, treat their older son, Michael, like shit on a daily basis by letting Tara bully him and calling him a liar when he tries to defend himself. (Parental favoritism, much?)

They didn't give a shit when Michael got brutally beaten up by a bigger guy as opposed to their concern for Tara when she only got just a small cut on her leg after falling off Michael's bike for getting onto it earlier, made fun of him as a baby for not being able to speak in full sentences yet and not being able to tie his shoes.

Despite the fact that they treat their son, Michael, like complete crap, they get little-to-no comeuppance for their retarded-ass actions at all, I've decided to have Spiker and Sponge from Disney's "James And The Giant Peach (1996)" adopt a kid of their very own rather than "raising" their now-disowned nephew, James Henry Trotter. I mean, I know that Mr. and Mrs. Webster redeemed themselves near the end of the book's storyline, but that still doesn't excuse them for their wrong and bad actions.

All I know is that... I don't know about the rest of you guys out there, but I feel like Spiker and Sponge from "James And The Giant Peach" would be way, way, way, way, WAY better guardians to Tara than Mr. and Mrs. Webster. For those of you who've watched "James And The Giant Peach" (in which I have, plenty of times), you probably remember how Spiker and Sponge always acted so nasty and abusive towards poor James Henry Trotter for practically no reason at all. And I ain't gonna lie to everyone, Spiker and Sponge would most likely torture the shit out of Tara. And to be completely true and honest, Tara will pretty much deserve it due to how terrible she was to Michael, always getting him into trouble with his family (especially for stuff he didn't do), laughed at by his friends, and just straight-up making Michael's life a living hell.

What do YOU guys think of this idea? Do you think Spiker and Sponge would be better guardians to Tara Webster?
