Description
The Red Armata is a defective clone of Alexei Mikhailov, the first Red Tetrarch. Mikhailov was the first Soviet super-soldier to survive the metal bonding process that turned him into a living tank, and copies of his DNA were used to continue the Red Tetrarch program. The Red Armata clone was intended to be stronger and more durable than the original Red Tetrarch, and in that regard his design was a success. Unfortunately, the new metal bonding process drove the clone insane, making it impossible to control. The Russian laboratory decided to abort the Red Armata experiment and terminate the clone, which proved to be more difficult than expected. The clone could not be killed, nor could it be restrained once it decided to flee. The Red Armata was intercepted and abducted from the former Soviet Union during a daring covert raid conducted by the CIA, but the Americans also failed to contain its new asset and eventually it escaped. The Red Armata now roams free, completely off the grid somewhere in the United States. What the clone wants, other than to be left alone, is unknown.
