TOJO (HE/HIM gay) is the son of a huntress in the Pride. He is the jokester as a child and becomes friends Simba after an incident with baby birds. Simba always finds Tojo’s adaptation to fatherhood to birds a bit strange, Tojo maybe a jokester, however he acts very mature and calm, this causes his mother much pride. As an adult Tojo is still calm and responsible and acts as a Royal messenger and translator. He has a natural talent with communication and his birds help him is spreading messages.

TAMA (she/her, sexuality: asexual) Tama is the daughter of Nandi, a huntress in the Pride. She is a rough and stubborn child, being the more cautious type of child, compared to Simba. TAMA becomes the unofficial protector of Simba’s group and later in life becomes a unit leader ( she is a commander of the soldier unit). Late in her life she is able to become a mother (something she has secretly wanted), unfortunately her motherhood doesn’t last long as shortly after birthing, Chumvi, his mate and TAMA are attacked and killed by a recently exiled Zira and her followers.

MALKA (he/him, sexuality: straight) the son of Koti (bodyguard of Queen Uru) and a Currently unnamed Prince of a small Land called the Marshlands. Malka was born super late into Koti’s life, Koti
Is two years older than Uru and literally had her surprise child the year Uru’s grandchild was being born. He is the second child, with the first being Zira. Growing up Malka spent most of his time with his father, as his mother and sister spent their majority of time in the Pridelands. Malka sneaks into the Pridelands one day and here he becomes friends with Simba. Malka tends to talk big but rarely acts, however deep down he knows this is wrong. As a teen Malka studies under Queen Sarabi, as his Uncle passes away, leaving Malka as his heir when of right age.

CHUMVI (he/him; polysexual )and his sister KULA are decentness of a neighboring mountain tribe. The two cubs were found by a pair that had come to the Pridelands as refugees. The young couple tried to find the cubs tribe but were unable to find any evidence that any tribe had been nearby for months. After raising the two cubs until they were strong enough the couple brought the youngsters to Pride Rock, to officially adopt the cubs with the Queens blessing. The couple moved closer to Pride Rock to ensure that the cubs could socialize, and this is how the cubs became friends with Simba.
Chumvi is a very shy cub, always choosing to stay on the safe side, much to Simba’s annoyance. As an adult, Chumvi is a hopeless romantic, still cautious however much more out going, boldly flirting with many. He’s job is a cub sitter, with his naturally calm nature benefiting him. Later in his adult life, he fathers a cub with his mate, Rosie, and is a sperm donator (surrogate father? I forgot the correct word) to Tama’s child.

KULA (she/her; lesbian) was always a more judgmental child, combining this with her distrustful instinct made her very unpopular. However Nala and Tama managed to earn her trust and found that she is a deeply caring and playful child. She often butts heads with others (even in adulthood) but she is not stubborn enough to admit when she is wrong. As young adult she dates MHEETU (mainly due to her believing that that is her duty and repressing her sexuality) however the relationship doesn’t last. She becomes Shani’s (Simba’s sister) bodyguard and begins to explore her sexuality due to Shani’s friendship and the fact that Shani is very open and bold about her own sexuality (she’s Pansexual). After Shani’s receives a message from the ancestors, Shani and Kula leave the Pridelands together and later become mates.

MHEETU (he/him) was always a curious child, however as he grew his curiosity turned to disgust. He cares deeply about his mother and sister but begins to question the truth about his parents, after his mother gives birth to two of Scars cubs (after his banishment). He’s mother always insists that he is not Scars son, however as he ages, his facial features sharpened and his mane darkens. Others start to distrust him and in return he begins to distrust others. He feels lost and lied too. He’s fear and insecurities only grow after his failed relationship with Kula (kinda arranged btw) and the return of Simba.
