Author's Note: If there's something I like in a protagonist, it's a fellow who is tired and put-upon. And hoo-boy, our Marsh Silas is quite a put-upon boy this morning. Drunk LT's, critical platoon mates, a befuddling Inquisitor, a judgmental Commissar, and a hapless refugee. I'd like to say a quiet morning would be preferable, but even that is becoming distasteful for the poor guy.
