Author's Note: Hey look at that, we're already back! Before I get into the chapter, let me describe what this story really is. In expanding the Marsh Silas series, I've decided to write the occasional supplementary novel, which is an installment to the series that can theoretically be skipped in the context of the main series. These novels are meant to enhance your knowledge of characters, describe spans of time between certain books, as well as to take a step back for a lighter take on certain themes and be more character-driven. Supplementary novels will not occur between every main installment, and instead there might be spin-off novels and novellas/short stories for other characters. There might even be a background novel for a few choice characters throughout the series. As for taking up time, I wrote and edited this one between March and June and it's a little over 300 pages in length; not too shabby and it was a pretty easy write!

Anyway, the chapter; jumping in with some action to show you want the newly-minted Kasrkin of Bloody Platoon are up to! We get some flavors for characters, highlight some additions, and show just how badass they are with their new guns, armor, and training. Figured the best way to start was with a BANG.
