Finally I've finished up organization for the species I've been working on for quite a while, that I can release them publicly ;w; Let me introduce you to Plushuls - stuffed creatures that are brought to life by the power of aspirations, goals, and wishes in the form of a promise. They exist to be helpers and companions to their human owners.
This flash exists so you can get an idea of what features Plushul can have, and look through the possibilities.
This is not a dressup or character maker, a few people have confused it as such but I can't be more clear than this! It's for display only!

Plushuls all have a unique appearance and ability, no two are 100% alike. For the sake of simplicity, this flash shows only the simplest features and white coloration, but in actuality Plushuls can come in many colors, textures, and patterns with lots of variety! The only thing that all of them have are their tell-tale button joints; as living plush need a way to be properly mobile!

They are inspired by my love for stuffed animals and as a homage to some of my favorite childhood memories, especially reading my favorite bedtime story, The Velveteen Rabbit. As a young child, I always felt as if my stuffed animals felt sad or neglected if I didn't play with or cuddle them enough. So much to my mother's dismay, I often stacked all of my plushies onto my bed and slept in a pile of them. And when awake, brought them all out into the living room and played with them all. My stuffies have always been there for me through my young life, and I thought it to be a nice sort of honor to bring them back in some form or another with my art, and to share my imaginary world with others as well! I hope they will be liked ;v;

General Information
Plushuls (singular: Plushul) are handmade stuffed creatures that are brought to life by the power of aspirations, goals, and wishes in the form of a promise. A Plushul exists to protect and support individuals and reflect the unique promise which gave them life. Each Plushul has a special unique look, ability, and purpose based on that Promise- all meant to have them be helpful companions to their owners. These Promises fall under seven special categories, and a Plushul with a particular type of Promise is often referred to by its Promise category. The seven categories for these promises are: Health, Prosperity, Luck, Creativity, Leisure, Companionship, and Love. You can read more about Promises here: About Promises

Using their special skills granted by their Promise, Plushuls can assist and help their human companions, as well as each other. No two Plushul will ever be completely alike in their looks and personality!

History
The first Plushuls were created and sewn by a young girl to be her companions, however, in a twist of fate they somehow became truly alive. Using her newfound abilities, the girl then created many more living Plushuls to share with the world in hopes that they could make lives easier. World
Plushuls live in the human world with their owners for the most part, and serve as companions and helpers. However, there is a special place between the fabric of time and space that the Plushul can go to live amongst themselves for awhile. Plushuls get along with each other quite well, and tend to form strong bonds of kinship with one another. Some specially-chosen humans may also be permitted to enter their world as well though! There is still a lot about Plushuls that probably isn't written down or fully explained just yet, but it's a bit hard for me to know what needs answering since I know everything!
