Yay! My first piece of 'official' Darksiders fanart that I've completed! I decided to try something different so I did a pixel-art style... at least for Death and the basic crystal background. I added some of my more comfortable techniques for the after effects lol
So yeah, Death... He's not normally the kind of character I would have been immediately drawn to in the beginning, since he has his moments of arrogance- I guess that happens when you're the eldest of the Horsemen and have seen shit ._. - but *damn* if I don't melt at that voice of his (Thank's Michael Wincott! You talented bastard, you!) and how badass he is, just in how he handles situations. I might do a picture of War at some point, since I recently finished Darksiders 1 after playing 2 first so I have a bit more a of a soft spot for Death than War...
*Cough* So, enjoy this picture! I did the sketch a long time ago, and *finally* got to finishing it over the course of two nights xD So while I was playing Darksiders 2, I came to remember that the 'Crystal Spire' was just a big ol' building with no crystals in there... pff, talk about feeling ripped off lmao But I decided to keep the title as is
