buy: [link]Cufflinks Model Twenty-Eightare a set of twins; similar and balanced. They were created using spring barrels, brass and gears, and balance wheels recycled from old and broken watches, cleaned, rearranged, and soldered into unique forms using lead-free silver bearing solder. These are not simply mechanical watch movements stripped from watches and hot glued onto a cufflink base. We do not use glues or resins, but actual metal, and each piece is one of a kind and never reproduced. We want the gears to tell their hundred year old plus stories in a clever and new way. They are perfect for the mechanist or collector, or for someone who just enjoys the clockwork beauty of geared circles.
Model Twenty-Eight round gearage assemblies are soldered onto a silver tone metal cufflink base. Each cufflink measures 13mm wide, 13mm tall, and 21mm front to back. Please contact us if you have any questions at all!
