Makes me want to sail between these two points -- maybe a way out

Absolutely classy putting those shoes on the rock, they give a whole other meaning to the picture. Very well done.

It feels like pregret; to arrive at a physical location where someone else has lately chosen whether to be or not to be.
Realizing quite suddenly that I wasn't there for them in exactly the way that no one is here for me.
A wonderfully melancholy photograph!

What happened to your other works? I've always seen nude art from you, and now - water-scapes? I'm not saying they are bad, not at all. All of your works are very good and artistic. I just wonder upon that change...

Very nice. Ilove the contrast, the deep tones. The shoes are interesting, they are in the forefront, yet one doesn't pick up on their presence until a while later... the light that shines on the water forms an arrow directing the viewer's gaze towards them, as if pointing out that they are there, forgotten, left behind, a memory of a moment past, of a presence no more... they are highlighted by the light so there is a sense of more than just a pair of shoes left behind... they are left behind, but not "just" left behind, are they? Very powerful, very nice.

Between a rock and a hard place, as the saying goes...
And somebody forgot their shoes.
