Nightmare was a complex enigma. She spent most of her time isolated from the world. People often fear what they cannot understand. So, in turn, she was cursed by those who feared her. They often revered and berated her for being a monster, yet never apologized for making her into one. When she was younger, people often told her she could never be a good person, since she was born with such a demonic power. But in time she learned that what separates the good from the bad, is who's telling the story. Even though she was born with an ability she could not chose, she still played by the rules and tried to do good, but she still lost in the end. humanity would forever be their own destruction, but not by their own hands, but instead Nightmares.
