Monster type/species Description; The odd mix between a siren and a yuan-ti, Inyoka is a quite powerless monster, and lazy to boot, but with a quite strong hypnotic skill.

-Fangs; spawning from two kinds of predatory species Inyoka does of course have a set of quite sharp pointy teeth, perfect for tearing raw meat into digestible pieces, and hollow fangs that are always ready to ingest any victim he might catch with poison. And like any other snake he can open his jaws far wider than a human.

-Venom; Like any cobra Pnígo has a very potent venom in his jaws, should he ever get close enough to sink his fangs into you. Though it is only effective against people with a physical body, as it attacks muscles and tissue (more info below)

-Strong tail; his sheer size comes in handy every now and then; Inyoka is far too heavy for any ordinary human to move, and his tail can carry the weight of at least an adult, if he should feel inclined. And have you ever petted a snake? They are crazy strong for their body size, so even while he is not any kind of constriction snake his very size makes him able to deal out quite a bit of damage by that alone.

-Hypnotic voice; The force, or rather the lure, is strong in this one. And he loves to use it; singing to put people in a trance that will force them to follow him and obey no matter what, even if the result is them dying (sirens do call people to their deaths in the deep, after all), and he has studied the use of it all his life...

Trained weapons:
-Nets; quite effective for catching food when there are no people around to nom on, both on land and in water.
-His trusty trident is perfect for striking and reeling in even the slippriest of fishies. The barbed blades were never made to cut or even kill, but to pierce deep and capture...

Weakness:
-Cold; being a part snake he can not control his own bodytemperature very well, and just grow more and more sluggish the colder he gets. He wouldn’t even notice if he froze to death.
-Slow; he’s got no legs. He is physically unable to run. As long as you stay out of his reach (even when striking) he won’t be able to get to you.
-Dehydration; Half of him was made to live in the sea, so being out of water means his hypnotic magic is weaker, and he will dehydrate to the point of dying if he has not been submerged himself at least once within 48 hours

-Demand for saltwater; Ever put a fish from sweet water in the sea? Not nice. You get pretty much the same effect if you try to have Pnígo in a normal bathtub.

SKILLS
Major Skills:
-Hypnotism; His main power, and what he would survive on had he stayed in the ocean, as it is what would have called humans overboard. He mainly uses his voice for this, but dancing or getting people to look into his eyes also works just fine. (so it can pretty much be devided into;
1. Siren song; a hypnotic melody that lulls anyone who listens it into a sleepy, submissive state, and will lure the victim to seek out the source, even if it means walking straight out into water and drown. Not even the panic of dying will free you from this wicked spell...
2. Eye of the cobra; a strangely alluring stare of the odd hypnotic eyes of the snake. The victim is dazed, and quite obedient. This can be made even stronger by moving in a dance-like swaying or by unfolding the hood and use hypnotic magic from the eyes on it; some cobras can even put whole crowds to trance with this. Inyoka has the bioluminecent lights along his entire body to work the same way as well
-Killing bite; Like all cobras Inyoka does have venom, and he never hesitates to use it. He rather seems to find it facinating to watch people subcum to it, how it coagulates their blood, tricks the muscles to cramp until their breathing stops, or how their tissue rots away...

Minor Skills:
-Heat sense; he doesn’t see all too well in the dark, but a snake’s skill of seeing infrared/bodyheat does come in handy during moonless nights and dark corridors.
-Quick strike; he might not be able to run, but if you are within reach of him he can snatch you with both hands and teeth, and he is (literally) quick as a cobra.

-Underwater breathing; Of course being born for half a life in the ocean Pnígo is fully capable to breathe and life under the waves. Having a tail like his just makes it all the easier to swim really. There just aren’t enough things to eat down there…

Personality:
Pnígo is a sly, coldhearted bastard who see the world in 3 categories; food, useful or pointless. Everyone and everything can be sorted into those three.
Being raised by a specie who live on murder and consuming corpses it is no wonder he holds no life but his own as holy, and see nothing wrong at all with a ‘survival of the fittest’- mentality.

Character's Background:
(This boy is basically what you would get if Inyoka had stayed with his mother instead of being abandoned to his father’s family.)
Being the result of a quite strange and very drunk late night meeting between a siren and a Yuan-ti Pnígo is the misshapen mixture of them both; a long tail and a hypnotic hood attached to one pair of his arms, and the colouring and voice of the ocean depths. Since his parents had done their separate ways in the morning and never met again Pnígo never quite knew the pleasures and happiness of having a large family and siblings to love, nor what a parent who would just accept him as he was would be like. Instead he spent the bigger portion of his youth in desperate attempt to please his mother and gain her affections. This of course resulted in a bitter, cold view upon the world and what love is, and that he learned pretty fast never to question commands he was given by those in charge. He has no respect what so ever for any life around him and will only pay attention to that which he can either eat or use in some way.

Other details;
-Venom; the venom this little monster distributes is a quite nasty one, as it not only contains neurotoxins and cytotoxins but also prohibits the interaction of acetylcholine molecules, which is what makes your diaphragm move. Basically it paralyzes your breathing, causing you to choke while the toxins affect your central nervous system, resulting in severe pain, necrosis, blurred vision, vertigo, drowsiness, and eventually paralysis.
