The name makes me think of their names put together: Shepard Liara = Shelira

It wasn't that at first (It was Shalira first, because it sounded Asari enough), then I realized how much it did sound like their names put together, so I changed the a to an e because I AM A DORKUS XD

The first panel is so sad. The little girl is desperately trying to get Shepard to return her affection but Shepard's still too dumbstruck to notice. She's even waving her little arms. The child's name is better than some I've seen too.
