Description
An adult Gulper does not pursue prey. It's not that they can't, it's just that they loath to move. It's ok though, they have edible luminecent plants that attract prey growing on their heads and bodies, and their long and powerful tongues can lash out, quick as thought and drag a victim to their gaping maw before they can say "I KNEW IT WAS A BAD IDEA TO COME HERE!".
Gulpers can sense vibrations in the ground and in the water and will wait without moving untill the prey is close enough.
In their larva stage they are completely aquatic, but still ravenous
