Yes I got this from the Avengers, since 2 of the cast of this film are gonna star in the sequel.
I like ZILLA too, just thought it be funny if I did a picture like this.
and yes I know the Squares are drawn really bad its not meant for anything Official.

At least in the comics Zilla put up a better fight, but Godzilla was still kicking his ass, and it looked like he was about to kill him, but if the army wouldn't have gotten in the way, Godzilla would've killed Zilla right there on the spot. And one of the characters said that if Zilla would've stayed for a while longer, Godzilla would've killed him, stating that Zilla had no chance against Godzilla, but I'll guess this will be settled when round 2 comes around in "Rulers of Earth", issue #8, but I know Godzilla will slit his throat, rip his head off, or blow him up like he did in "Final Wars", when the rematch comes.

In an open field Godzilla would win hands down.
In a city Zilla would win hands down.
Each is strong where the other is weak.
Zilla would not be that easy to take down in either theater of combat.

Ehhh.....no. Whereas Zilla runs around buildings, Godzilla would just go THROUGH those very same buildings. Plus, it's clear the True American Godzilla will have the same kind of resilience to any standard military weapon like his predecessors, unlike ol' Zilla here. Zilla would never win. EVER. Maybe some areas would make it slightly harder, but in the end, Godzilla would simply outlast Zilla through physical endurance, beat him to a pulp with his extremely superior size, or roast him with his atomic breath.

Both have the same endurance and size is relative to the individual Godzilla and Zilla we are talking about.
You can not beat up what you can't catch. Also, a moving target is harder to hit with atomic breath than one that is slow, clumsy, or stationary.
It's still an overall tie.

Same endurance? No. The endurance to military weapons fire is relative to endurance overall when it comes to Kaiju-on-Kaiju brawls. They both entail a certain common standard. Physically, Godzilla has a denser and more survivable structure that can withstand pretty much any blow a physically less bulky target like Zilla would entail. Also, all iterations of Godzilla are larger overall in mass, even the Showa era Godzilla which was only 50 m tall. Basically, if you don't have any special tricks to instantly take out a rival monster, it's a matter of survivability, and Zilla has neither the above-animal cunning or physical build to slowly bring down a Godzilla. Additionally, whereas at most a Godzilla needs radiation on infrequent trips, Zilla apparently requires fish, and thus with his nuclear power-plant of a heart, Godzilla has the energy to outlast Zilla as well.

We are talking about apples and oranges here. Even then, there are differences between oranges as well as differences between apples.
How well one would do against the other is strongly relevant to which one (within each Zilla or Godzilla) you are talking about.
Note the different fighting styles. Zilla would lose if it stood and fought. Godzilla's style is to stand and fight to the end. The lumbering lizard has no choice due to its bulk and clumsiness.
Special tricks? Zilla is very capable of hit-and-run, deception, and ambush capabilities that far better any Godzilla.
Both are very skilled where the other is weak. Who is likely to win depends on the setting.

Zilla would lose a fight with Godzilla - PERIOD, he lost in Final Wars, and he got his ass kicked in the Rulers of Earth comics, one of the character is the end said that if Zilla would've stayed a bit longer, Godzilla WOULD'VE killed him, stating that Zilla has no chance against Godzilla. Godzilla has beaten enemies that are faster than him, faster than Zilla, and he still managed to kick their assess, so even if Zilla attacks Godzilla with all of his speed and energy, Godzilla will likely knock him down with his tail, and set him on fire, since Godzilla is the only one with an actual breath attack. Also, Godzilla has muscle, Zilla is skinny as a stick, it's like putting an egg to fight a boulder, you know who's gonna win.
Godzilla's body is strong enough to sustain everything that can be thrown at him, he survived everything the military has thrown at him, he survived being frozen alive, other kaijus, bio-chemical weapons, cadmium, Mechagodzilla and other anti-kaiju mechas/weapons, falling into a volcano, black hole cannons, absolute zero cannons, there was one comic where Godzilla was nuked and he was STILL ALIVE, in "Godzilla GMK" Godzilla was resurrected by WWII spirits, and even after he blew up in the end of the movie, HIS HEART WAS STILL BEATING! Zilla doesn't show anything that shows endurance, all it took to take him down was 12 missiles, and it took one Atomic Breath blast to kill him, so how is Zilla durable? Dumbass. Godzilla is more durable than Zilla, Zilla isn't.
It doesn't matter what setting can the fight take place, Godzilla has survivability, durability, strength, muscle, breath attack, and has semi-sapien intelligence, meaning Godzilla can actually think; Zilla acts like a stupid, brain-dead animal, can be killed easily, is weak and skinny as hell, and wouldn't last a round for almost 5 seconds. Bottom line - Godzilla can kick Zilla's ass any day, any time, and Zilla wouldn't last long, so there is no tie, and no contest. Now

This went to discussing two monsters to hating on each other in a heartbeat... Here's my take on it since both of you are being as mature as a five year old whose friend won't let him play with him. Zilla is a good monster. He has his advantages and so does Godzilla. Even though Zilla would get his ass beat, Zilla is still a good character over all. I don't hate Zilla. Most original Godzilla fans don't hate Godzilla. They just don't like there monsters name on what could have been renamed to a different title. Godzilla (1998) was a good movie, but not good as of calling it Godzilla. That is what everyone hated about it. And what Toho did in Final Wars, now thinking about it, was either owning Tri Star, or fan service.

Here's the thing - I have sort of "like/hate" thing for Zilla, I like Zilla on his own, and I think he is a pretty good kaiju, and now that Toho owns him, he'll be portrayed properly as a real kaiju; but I hate him at the same time because the poorest excuse as Godzilla, is not worthy of the name "Godzilla", completely sucked balls, and didn't resemble Godzilla in any way.
The reason why many hate TriStar's movie, alone, is because it disrespected the source material to a high degree, TriStar didn't care what they were doing as long as they made money off of it, and Roland Emmerich admitted he hates Godzilla, the movie was made by lack of passion, loyalty and interest, that's why the movie gets so much hate. Worst part of all is that the original script they had was much better and they threw it away for

Zilla is the 1998 fuck up that was created by the talentless TriStar, in which did not care about Godzilla at all, Zilla is just Zilla, he does not deserve the name Godzilla because he doesn't resemble Godzilla, and he's not going to be called Godzilla anyway since he's now owned, and renamed, by Toho Co. Where the 1998 Godzilla is concerned, please do go look at the DVD cover for the movie and read what the title on the box says. Ok, so it's not the best Godzilla ever. It's an interpretation ok? And it IS fictional, and if you want it to be called just 'Zilla, Great! Wonderful! That's your opinion and you are most entitled to it.
However, if someone wants to refer to it as the 1998 Godzilla, the American Godzilla, the Iguana Godzilla, or the Shere Khan Godzilla that's their own choice, right, and opinion too, and not for you to criticize them so harshly for.

1. I don't call it "Zilla" by opinion, I call it "Zilla" because that's the official trademark name, Toho said so, the end. Using the title as "evidence" is lame, dumb and childish. Titles and expired trademarks means nothing, just because the title is called that doesn't mean so is the monster in it, titles can't change but characters can, so the '98 kaiju is now copyrighted as Zilla, a completely different character not related to Godzilla, never considered as an interpretation, and Toho doesn't see it as that either.

You know, since this new True American Godzilla will be the largest yet a by a small yet sizable fraction over any other, at around 120-150 meters, Zilla would actually be even more puny in comparison. But this is a comic short, so.....yeah......
