it's fun! maybe you should try something fun for a change. You might stop hating on everything just because it seems lazy. it's just like going back to the days where you could just color and people would think you're an amazing artist! i miss being 6... you should try being a little kid again. it really makes you feel better about yourself

Seriously? Let me get this straight. You think that making bases is bad? First of all if bases were bad then deviantART wouldn't make a category for them.
Second thing is that people who use a base are not lazy...well some are, but others have trouble drawing on the computer , so it helps amateur artists.
Third of all how do you know that this girl or anyone is tracing this.There are people who actually have artistic talents on the computer.
Fourth thing that I like to say is that why do you care of what others are drawing? Let them whatever they want.You're just getting into other people's business so leave them alone.
And how do you know that this girl or anyone is asking without permission? They could be a friend or something...
Anyway I apologize if I'm acting like a jerk, (or a bitch) but my point is that you should just let people learn from they're mistakes.The majority of people aren't going to listen, so there's almost no point in doing this, so remember this.
Next time don't post negative comments like that.Let people learn, and if they pay the price (literally) you can brag, scold, mock, or do whatever.

the person that did this dosen't have pemision! because THIS IS A SCREENSHOT FROM AN ANIME CALLED MERMAID MELODY, so she dosen't have permision! and if they aren't good in art in the computer i recomend buying a tablet, and also this doen't count as art A BASE IS ART but a traced base isn't!

listen here, dude! I'm an amateur artist, but I can't afford a tablet, so the thing that I can only do is draw with mouse which is pretty much annoying. I draw most of my arts by myself, no base or bla bla blaa. To tell you the truth this is the first time I'm using base BECAUSE I AM BORED and I am practicing various types of clothes :/
My point is just because you are rich enough to buy tablet, doesn't mean everyone is as rich as you. Most of us know that it's from Mermaid Melody, and the base maker also placed the original picture. Oh, and just wondering, are you throwing rage at each base maker here? wow, I can see how much free time you have
