February 06, 2009. I peered out the window. My mouth gaped open as I saw the nearly 30 inches of snow which had appeared over Friday night. I could see that my car was pretty much submerged in a large drift of shimmering crystals. I quickly threw on a coat and grabbed my camera. As I walked out the door, immediately, this bench beckoned for my attention. It looked so pretty as nature did its job to blow snow across her, as almost purposed. When I say almost purposed, I mean that the lions head was just as you see it here and nature gave him a cold white mane.
