Description Those spinny bag carousels fill my mind with two gorey visions of death. This is one of them. Customers, please don't haul off and give the carousel a whirl while the cashier is bagging your stuff for you. Unless they really suck. Then they deserve to have their arms reduiced to bloody stumps. But you didn't hear that from me

Hopefully more to follow. I have a thousand of these in my head, vying for the spotlight.

I don't know, but it makes me nervous that most of them know my first name now.

OMG! You have those twirly things at that wal-mart too? OMG ONE TIME AT BAND CAMP! Kidding! But anyway, one time, I couldn't go shopping so I had my parental units pick me up a copy of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and this stupid wal-mart checker didn't put all the bags in the cart and my parents didn't realize it until they got home. Needless to say, I was very upset and started crying. But my dad called Wal-Mart and the next day we went to get teh bag they didn't give us.

Hehe, yeah, it's the cashier's job to make sure you're loaded up before you leave. Still, I'm amazed at some of the things people start to walk away without. People who only got one bag worth of stuff will wander off empty-handed. Still, I'm pleased to say I haven't made a customer "forget" a bag o' goods yet.

You're a good checker then. I'd definatly go to your checkout instead of the self-checkout

Make sure you keep those arms intact! It would be a damn shame to lose your art. Drawing with your teeth indeed....
I'm no stranger to sketchy jobs, but I've never worked at Wal-Mart before, and thus cannot feel your pain about the whirly cart things. But they do confuse the heck out of me as a customer.
Best of luck on the job! Don't let the senile old ladies and frustrating customers get you down!

Thank you! Best sketchy job evarr? Working as a carnie hawking shaved ice at summertime fairs. Of course, I worked with the best :3

How about you?

Oooh, yours beats mine! I worked as a waitress in a little dive restaraunt in my home town where the fry cook was a drug dealer, the kitchen manager was a crack addict, and almost everybody else was drunk half the time. My sister and I were the only clean people in the place. ^_^
I really want shaved ice now....mmmmm....

The bag carousel was originally designed to be mounted on the front of armored vehicles coming ashore for D-Day during WWII. Deemed incredibly inhumane and difficult to control in the crowded environment of an amphibious beachhead, they were quickly banned for use as weapons of war by the Geneva Convention, and subsequent treaties and declarations by the UN. Purchased in bulk for the price of 17 cans of Pork and Beans by Ratopia, Inc., they attempted to modify them into carnival rides; testing proved to be their undoing, as numerous crash-test dummies were subsequently sacrificed to their whirling death spirals. Still, it does explain the reason for children's fascination with the device, and the device's penchant for limb removal and decapitation.

Currently serving in numerous locations in Wallyworlds nationwide; which, luckily are all designed exactly the same regardless of where you go.

Those vests are... Why can't they just produce a company tee-shirt? Or sooomethiiing? But yeah, it pays better than anything I've had to date, actually. ...that's not saying to much...

Augh! My scarier thought involving these things: children. Kids LOVE these things. I'm terrified I'll just give it a heave one day and rip poor Timmy's head off his neck because he happened to be hiding and playing on it...
